Our Kalahari concession is not your average hunting destination. Not only is it +8000 ha, we also have a variety of plains game and dangerous game options to choose from.
Our concession’s bio-diversity is so extraordinary – you can do the Kalahari hunt, with red sand in your hunting boots, explore the spectacular ridges, and experience the phenomenal beauty of also the river cruise.
Waterbucks grazing, Nyalas hiding in the bush, and if you are lucky, a leopard enjoying the previous night’s meal on the rocks. These are just some of the close encounters you can come into contact with.
The experience
A typical day with Kingsmill:
We start early morning with breakfast, hop on the Cruiser, and experience the beautiful African landscape until you find your trophy. We stalk and enjoy the hunt. Photos are proof – thus we will get that perfect shot of you and your trophy, load your big buck and cruise back for a well-deserved brunch.
The afternoon – typically looking the same, until we stalk and hunt again. The Kalahari sunset on its own is something to feel, luckily, we will be hunting until the moon trades place with the sun.
Heading back after a successful day, you will start smelling the ice for a well-deserved cocktail. Gazing at the bushman TV under the African sky, we will end the day with an exceptional three course meal, sharing some hunting stories.
You will need a good place to sleep as you might feel that your time in the African bush will have a rather tiring effect on you. Fortunately, the lodge offers a perfect bed to everyone. You can be sure to enjoy an exclusive experience guaranteeing an absolutely unforgettable time in the African bush.

Detta ingår ej i daily fee:
- Flygresa (ca: 6 000 sek i ekonomiklass). Qatar brukar ge möjlighet till business class uppgradering.
- Vi anlitar företaget Rifle Permit” för bekväm vapeninförsel (ca: 150 USD pp)
- Transport till- och från flygplats: 100 Euro per person.
- Troféavgifter (se prislista)
- Dricks till guider, kock och övrig personal (ca: 200 Euro per person).
- Sprit/drinkar (finns en kontantbar på lodgen).
- Ammunition såvida man inte har egna med sig ner.
- Konservatoravgifter i SA för cites, dip & pack (se prislista)
- Trofétransport från konservator i SA till Köpenhamn samt införtullning till EU. (Pris ges av NTG beroende på vikt)
- Eventuella konservatoravgifter i Sverige för önskat montage som inte görs i SA samt transport av troféer från Köpenhamn till konservatorn i Växjö och sedan kunden. (se prislista från Bäckhaga konservatorteknik).
- Måltider som inte äts på lodgen.
- Eventuella läkarkostnader.
- Resor till diverse utflykt utanför jakten eller till strandhuset samt entréavgifter till attraktioner
Vi rekommenderar flyg med Qatar Airways då de håller högst klass samt ”vapenvänliga”. Vill man resa med Star Alliance finns Turkish Airlines samt South African. Väl framme i Kapstaden blir vi bemötta av agenter från Rifle Permit som tar oss via passkontrollens VIP kö till vapenutcheckningen. Vi påbörjar processen med vapeninförtullning mailledes ca: 6 veckor innan så att vi har importtillståndet klart när vi landar.
Vi kommer att hjälpa till och skicka ut alla handlingar som behövs för vapen import/exporten.
Resan från Flygplatsen till ranchen tar ca: 5-timmar. Resan görs med en bekväm, chartrad van/minibuss och går igenom en mycket vacker väg, igenom olika vindistrikt från Cape Town till ranchen som ligger ovanför kuststaden George.
Om du inte vill åka bil så länge och inte vill ta med dina egna gevär, kan du ta ett inrikesplan från Kapstaden till George (ungefär 50 min) och sedan är det bara 45 minuters bilresa. Om du vill ta med egna gevär behöver du stiga av vid Cape Town och bli upphämtad där.
Vi kan även ordna privatflyg från Kapstaden. Låt oss veta om du är intresserad så får du ett pris. Om du
önskar ta med sig vapen så sker flyg enklast med Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways.
